Sometimes bad things happen to photographs that are
important to us. A fire or a storm can destroy our home or
business taking with it our cherished possessions. Many
times the damage to photographs is so severe that they can
not be repaired. Sometimes a part of one is salvageable.

This photograph was washed in the washing machine. The details of the damage to this picture do not show up in this web graphic. Luckily, the worst damage was not on the face, making it feasible to save part of the picture.
